Gateway Art Center will be hosting several Student Graduating Exhibits from local Art Colleges including Masters of Fine Arts Programs beginning May. Dates and details will be announced here soon.  We invite regional art school programs to contact us for sponsorship options to host their exhibits as well as shows for their Staff and Alumni.

New York City and the Northeast are home to many of the highest rated art school programs in the world.  Very talented American and foreign students are accepted into graduate programs with new energy and state of the art developments in techniques and materials, a very exciting time for artists and collectors.  We plan to share some of the finest works curated by their Professors and also individual or group shows for many of them as well.

Our Gallery and building Lobby renovations are now complete for 4 of the 5 Galleries and large Exhibit Hall.  Updated photos will soon be on line as well as a virtual gallery 3D tour.  The last details and new digital screens and connections took longer than planned and we are eager to make up for lost time to share the plans on a frequent basis here.

December 20, 2015

We will continue to further develop the website content linking our past, present and future art exhibitions and events, as well as the list of participating artists, sponsoring organizations and recommended vendors we support.

We will soon be adding a blog where we will share our own independent view of the complex world artists and collectors share, as well as other stories and opinions we find of interest and also post on our Facebook page under
https://www.facebook.com/artnyny

We invite arts organizations, galleries, curators and emerging and under-represented artists to contact us for exhibit options.  Tours available by appointment Monday to Fridays.
